We are a solid wood furniture workshop based in Bharatpur, Chitwan, Nepal. Every piece we make begins not in a factory, but in a forest. With timber we know, trust, and source with care.

 

We work with three of Nepal's finest woods: Sisoo, Teak, and Pine. Sisoo is known for its dark, interlocking grain and exceptional hardness. It is the wood Nepali craftspeople have trusted for generations. Teak brings a natural warmth and oil-rich durability that ages beautifully over decades. Pine is lighter and full of character, perfect for pieces that carry a clean, honest simplicity. Each wood is chosen for the piece it will become.

 

What makes us different is simple. We build to your home, not the other way around. Every order at Model Furniture Product is made to your exact dimensions. No standard sizes. No compromises. Whether it is a bed that fits your room perfectly, a dining table sized for your family, or a wardrobe built into your alcove, we measure, design, and craft it specifically for you.

 

Our craftspeople are based right here in Chitwan. They work with hand tools and time-tested joinery techniques, the kind of joints that hold without screws, that tighten with age, that will still be standing when your grandchildren inherit the piece. Every surface is finished by hand with natural oils, rubbed in coat by coat until the wood glows.

 

We started Model Furniture Product because we believed Nepali homes deserve furniture built the Nepali way. From local wood, by local hands, with the care and permanence that mass-produced furniture can never offer.
